With so many Air Jordan 1′s hitting shelves this year, we all knew sooner or later Jordan Brand would retro the holy grail of 1′s, the ”OG” version of the Black/Red Air Jordan 1 complete with Nike air logo on the tongue.
The last time this color was released, the Air Jordan 1 banned edition and released in very very limited numbers back in 2011. Sneakerheads may not be as excited because JB decided to take a step back on the production and downgrade the leather, going with the same leather as seen on the Jordan 1 black toe which was released earlier this year. This doesn’t mean the shoe won’t be in high demand, as both the black toe and shadow 1′s saw early exits off store shelves sporting the same type of leather.
No date has been announced but look for the OG pair to hit stores in the fourth quarter.
