Since it’s launch several years ago, T.I.’s AKOO has stayed true its initial motto of aspirational, Americana style.

For Summer 2014, the line went for a bold, literal interpretation of yachting style, with polo’s and tee shirts emblazoned with images of beachfront revelry and what the label refers to as “jet set lifestyle”.  Shirts printed with the label’s signature, bikini-clad “AKOO Girl” are mixed in with more subtle sports jerseys-esque tees, and the brand provides the requisite selection of cargo shorts and cut-off sweatpants for warm weather dressing. AKOO also prides itself on their popular, best-selling ripped jeans for spring, paired with a tropical-print tee and one of the brand’s printed baseball hats. For the more adventurous consumer, the brand’s Fall 2014 line plays with metallics and medals, from a pair of black, gold-painted jeans to a tee with various medals printed on the front. If bold, warm weather style is your thing, AKOO’s Summer collection may have a piece with your name on it.
