Plea deal lands Amanda Bynes in a 3 month alcohol education course
After Amanda Bynes complied to a no-contest plea deal charge of reckless driving from a 2012 incident, she was sentenced by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Edward Moreton to three years probation and ordered to attend an alcohol education course for 3 months.
Bynes was arrested on April 6, 2012 in West Hollywood after her BMW hit the side of a patrol car. When the actress refused to take a sobriety test she was charged with DUI. The star has been all over social media since the incident and was even put under psychiatric care last year after starting a small fire in front of a suburban home in Los Angeles.
Bynes is now on probation for driving with a suspended license. She did not show up in court on Monday.
