Khan wants to be Mayweather’s next opponent
Amir Khan may be getting a little ahead of himself on this one. Following Mayweather’s surgical victory over Canelo Alvarez this weekend Britain’s Amir Khan reportedly wants next.
After reading a BBC News report that stated Floyd Sr. wants his son to fight Khan next, Khan responded with this.
Floyd Snr wants his son to face me. Lets get it on. Iv never turned down any fight. Speed v speed pic.twitter.com/GwkpxyvUhD

Khan then told the Daily Telegraph this;
“Fighting Floyd Mayweather is my dream fight. We are the superstars of boxing and, once I have got Devon Alexander out of the way, it will be Mayweather for me, fingers crossed.
He is an amazing tactician but I know my speed will count against him—that is something I believe in 100 percent.
All the fighters who meet Floyd rely on their power, and although he is an amazing fighter, you have to fight him at his own game. You have to treat it like a chess game. You have to use your speed. He needs to fight someone as quick as him and I know that I am quicker than him.”
In order for Khan to get his desired fight with Mayweather he will have to defeat Devon Alexander in their upcoming December fight. That still may not be enough though as Khan has lost two of his last four fights one of which was against Danny Garcia. Garcia is currently the more probably opponent for Mayweather’s next fight.
