Ashanti is back on her grind, since promoting her new album Braveheart, which is due for a July 30th release.  After soft-singles like “No One Greater” with Meek Mill and French Montana and the under-appreciated “That’s What We Do” with R. Kelly, the Long Island native now has her first official cut, the convicted “Never Should Have”.  She stopped by Hot 97 to chat with K. Foxx and Ebro, and of course there was no escaping the topic of her former relationship with Nelly.  The subject of Nelly definitely got interesting, as Ashanti indirectly and directly answered questions about their status, but the singer remained as tight-lipped as before about being one of hip-hop’s hottest couples.
