Last night, BET Music Matters hosted their monthly showcase at SOBs in NYC. Tiffany Stevenson, gospel group Livre, Day 26 member Brian Angel and SoSo def recording artist Dondria Nichole showed the crowd what they are made of. The BET Music Matters showcase gives artists a time to showcase their talents on a big stage.
Tiffany Stevenson a NY singer who usually sings background for other artists such as Mack Wilds, was able to show her vocal ability as a lead vocalist. She also performed her new single “Old Thing” available on iTunes now. Livre is the first gospel group signed to Jeff Robinson’s MBK management, Alicia Keys’s former manager. They took the crowd to church with their performance. Brian Angel of Day 26 performed a few of his groups hits including “Got Me Going” and “Since You Been Gone”. The headliner Dondria Nichole blessed the crowd with her strong vocals, while rocking an all white lace ensemble designed by JustDramatik. She performed some of her hits and closed out the show by singing her smash hit “Your The One”.
There were huge stars spotted in the crowd including ‘Bad’ singer Tiara Thomas, Beyonce’s stylist Ty Hunter, and record exec Jeff Robinson.
