Technically, Beyonce’s self titled album didn’t hit 1 million sales in the official first week. The deadline for first week sales for her release week was Tuesday, Beyonce’ had been on sale for only 4 of the 7 days but she still reached and broke the iTunes record of the most US first week sales with 617,000 sold.
