Andreas Scheiger’s faux taxidermy sculptures are fun, functional, and cruelty free.
Everyone knows hipsters love bicycles, saving the world, quirky indie art, and other things they’ll quickly tell you they liked “before it was cool.”
Hunting and taxidermy are generally a hipster no-no, since a lot of hipsters are vegan, as are a large number of other people who weren’t fortunate enough to be uncool before it was cool to be uncool.
Enter Vienna based artist Andreas Scheiger, who repurposes bicycles to make sculptures that resemble dead animal heads.
The cruelty free quirky artwork is also functional–you can use the faux taxidermy sculptures as a coat or bicycle rack.
