Good news for car enthusiasts but bad news for BMW, but images have streamed onto the internet revealing BMW’s 4 series coupe design. We can thank Car Design News’ Facebook page for the early news. The 4 series coupe is a replacement for BMW’s 3 series coupe, which the company plans on doing away with this year.
The 4 series coupe takes many design cues from the older model 3 series, but adding a more updated base around the body giving it more flare. The 4 series still resembles the earlier concept design it first displayed at the 2013 Detroit car show it revealed earlier this year.
Since this is an early leak of the car there is no official auto specs, but many assume the car will have 2 models one being the 428i and the other being the 435i both offering 2.0-liter turbo-four under the hood. Look for BMW to also have a xDrive and the fan favorite M Sport trim. The 4 series coupe will hit UK dealerships in September and hitting the States later in the year, until then enjoy the pics until you can get your hands on one.
