Known for her quick wit and being tough as nails, Brooklyn Supreme Court administrative judge for  criminal matters, Patricia DiMango, will step down from her post to star in “Hot Bench,” a new CBS TV court show created by the producers of “Judge Judy.”

While her wise cracks about defendant attire are legendary, the judge comes knows how to handle to most serious of issues.

“What kind of person could do this to a child, let alone her own child?” DiMango berated a woman who had beaten, drugged and killed her four year old child, adding that convicted murderer was a “self-centered, volatile and belligerent woman,” before doling out a 32 year sentence.

DiMango’s show will begin in September of this year.
