Odd couple
Its actually rather odd that more people haven’t attempted to tackle some of the instrumentals from Beyonce’s recent, self-titled album. With production from Timbaland, Pharrell, 40, Justin Timberlake, J-Roc, Key Wane & Hit-Boy, its a gold mine of instrumentals. A couple New Yorkers with albums coming out in 2014 decided to try their hand at it: Busta Rhymes & Azealia Banks. Allowing the song to stay true to form, Rhymes & Banks add verses to the opening half of the song, where Busta uses his sexually explicit lyrics to paint a picture of what happens when the partition goes up, and Banks takes a break from her usual up-tempo, house tendencies to tackle the Timbaland beat. Check it out below, and remember Busta Rhymes’ E.L.E. 2 and Banks’ Broke With Expensive Taste are both expected to be out this year.
