PTAF

The female rap group sensation, PTAF (Pretty Taking All Fades), released their official video for the nationwide hit single “Boss Ass Bitch.” The colorful trio – made up of Kandii, K-Duce and Alizè, showcase their lyrical talents and charismatic personalities. The visual is directed by Lil Chris, son of the renown producer/director, Chris Robinson.

“It’s crazy how when we made this song we had no idea how many people would show and prove on Vine and Twitter how much they like it too. No need to stop there, we are gonna keep giving the people more of what we’ve got straight outta South Central LA,” says Alize.

PTAF has made headlines as the “First Ladies” of the West Coast hip hop scene currently dominated by some of the industry’s hottest artists including YG, DJ Mustard, Kendrick Lamar, Sage The Gemini and Ty Dolla $ign. They are spearheading a new wave of female lyricists that appeal to a young, hip, and independent generation of music lovers.

The video, which features VH1 Basketball Wives Of LA’s Brooke Bailey, was shot in the groups hometown of South Central LA, symbolizing their genuine representation of West Coast hip hop in today’s industry. With original production by Kandii, “Boss Ass Bitch” shot to YouTube stardom last year, gaining over 12 million views thanks to social media and the video app Vine. The banger recently gained a huge national boost when hip hop queen Nicki Minaj released her own remix of the song.
