Tour’s over, now time for new music
Chance The Rapper‘s Social Experiment tour, which took up much of the latter half of 2013, was highly successful, and since its conclusion, he’s teased new music and collaborations from a slew of new colleagues, including Common, No I.D. and James Blake. His newly formed orchestra, Social Experiment, which consists of several members of Vic Mensa‘s former group Kids These Days, backed him on his first official new release in quite some time, “Home Studio (Back Up In This B*tch)”, and while on Al Lindstrom‘s Toca Tuesday’s show, he played a new song, which has already been commonly referred to as “Thotty”, whch features J. Cole. No word on where this song will land, or what Chance’s plans are project-wise for 2014, but we’re a month away from Acid Rap‘s 1st birthday, so we imagine Chance has no plans on sitting idle this spring.
