It’s been years since we’ve heard from Charli Baltimore, the Notorious B.I.G. affiliate; one-third trio of the ladies (alongside Ashanti and Vita) that ran with the once thriving Murder Inc. crew under Irv Gotti; and once at point her association with The Game’s Black Wall Street. While she’s been laying low on the scene, little did we know Charli’s been cooking up a mixtape readily titled Hard to Kill, set for a summer release.
The Grammy-nominated rapper is said to be working with Detroit producer Trick Trick for most of the songs recorded, and as originally reported by The Women of Hip-Hop, Foxy Brown may be making an appearance, as will confirmed featured artist Lstreez.
Below are some tweets from Charli about her exciting return to rap, and few more behind the scenes pics. We’ll be all ears when this mixtape drops, as Charli might had been one of the more underrated spitfire female rappers of the late ’90s/early ’00s era as her full-length albums have often gone unreleased to the public due to record label conflicts.
On the fashion front, she’s rocking a blonde look this time around, as she known for her loud hue of coral, leaving as memorable an impression as her guest verses.
