DZA’s ready for spring

Smoke DZA is one of the less-heralded workhorses of the New York rap scene, and after releasing several well-received albums, including 2011′s Rolling Stoned, 2012′s Rugby Thompson & 2013′s K.O.N.Y, DZA’s gearing up for a massive 2014 data dump. His new album, being released via Cinematic Music Group and Priority Records, Dream.Zone.Achieve–which is vaguely a self-titled project, considering the album title is the expanded version of “DZA”–will be here on April 1st, and the Harlem native and staple has revealed the song titles, features and production credits for his latest.

Vocal contributions will come from Cam’ron, NymLo, Joey Bada$$, Ab-Soul, Kobe, CJ Fly, Ty Dolla $ign & J. Ivy, with production being handled by Lee Bannon, Ski Beatz, V-Don, Pete Rock, 6th Sense, Cardo, 183rd, DJ Dahi, Jahlil Beats & Sean C & LV, among others. The project will be split up into three “acts’, “Dream”, “Zone” & “Achieve”, and it appears DZA is shooting for the stars–as usual–with a meticulously put together album.
