The preliminary numbers are in and according to Hits Daily Double, Childish Gambino‘s Glass Note records independently released album, Because The Internet is on track to move anywhere from 80-90 thousand units in it’s first week. My guess is that it will end up on the higher side thanks to the great reviews and massive hype surrounding the album, and the companion screenplay, which you can read at becausetheinter.net. The idea of reading a screenplay in order to fully appreciate an album may seem like a task, but trust it really brings a whole other level of depth to the project.
R.Kelly’s RCA records released album Black Panties is estimated to move 90-100k, what would it mean to the state of music if Bino were to top The R.
