Months after the clash between Chris Brown and Frank Ocean’s respective entourages, the conflict is still far from resolved.
If you don’t know, this is how the story goes: In January, following Ocean’s coming out as a bisexual man, Brown tweeted some derogatory remarks. This made the situation less than lax. When the two camps came face to face at an LA recording studio, a brawl broke out, and 8.5 months later, the lawsuits are emerging.
Frank Ocean’s cousin Sha’keir Duarte is now suing Brown’s bodyguard, who Duarte claims attacked him. At the same time, Brown is countersuing with claims that Duarte was, in fact, the instigator.
Brown, who is currently carrying out a court-ordered rehabilitation in Washington, D.C., probably won’t be too pleased if his team loses this case. Duarte wants no less than $3 mil. According to TMZ, Duarte is seeking $1 million for pain, suffering, and inconvenience, $1 million for emotional distress, $1 million for punitive damages, and $60,000 for medical expenses.
