The unfortunate career of the troubled R&B singer/songwriter, Chris Brown, took another hit this past weekend, when a Los Angeles Judge ordered him back to rehab. His prospective star studded future was derailed five years ago, when he assaulted his then girlfriend Rihanna, in a rented Lamborghini on Hollywood Blvd. He pleaded guilty to the charges, and was sentenced to 1,400 hours of community service and five years probation. Brown’s recent issues, stem from his violation of said probation, when he was arrested for assaulting a man in Washington D.C.
While he has been in a luxurious rehab center for the past few months, working on his anger and drug problem, the judge stated that he could not be released until he was tried for his crime in Washington. Brown has made significant strides in treatment, seemingly more at peace with his current circumstance and even thanked everyone for the opportunity. However, this didn’t sway the judge and he is still looking at 750 more hours of community service, with a few more months in rehab.
We hope that he will be able to face and conquer his demons and get back on the right path. This stint in rehab can definitely help and has already shown significant progress. The Source will keep you posted on all of the happenings of this case, so stay tuned.
