Christopher Nolan, the mastermind behind ‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy and ‘Inception’ is reportedly in talks to direct ‘Bond 24′
In what could turnout to possibly be the best news ever for Bond fans, reports have been circulating that Christopher Nolan may be up to bat for the next installment in the Bond series. With ‘Skyfall’ director Sam Mendes stepping down from the director’s chair, this leaves an open spot for the critically acclaimed director to make his mark on the widely successful James Bond franchise.
The aforementioned reports are in regards to Nolan meeting with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, Bond producers, about the possibility of him winding up in the director’s chair. One has to ponder the possibility of this coming to fruition with Nolan already helming his upcoming Sci-Fi project Interstellar which is due out Fall 2014.
With Nolan previously declaring his love for the Bond series, if things don’t pan out for Bond 24, the possibility of the director stepping up to the plate for future installments isn’t entirely out of the question.
