After losing to Golden State in Game 1, the Los Angeles Clippers stormed into the Staples Center with every intention of dominating Game 2. The Clip Show came out on fire, dominating the entire first half and going into halftime with a 26 point lead. Coming into the 3rd quarter, The Clippers never looked back. Los Angeles stud forward, Blake Griffin, scored a record playoff performance of 35 points. Paul finished with a double-double, recording 12 points and 10 assists. The foul-trouble that tormented Griffin and Paul in Game 1 switched roles and haunted Golden State’s key players.
The Super Splash Brothers of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson struggled greatly in Game 2. Each of the players had 4 fouls while only combining for 31 points. Curry dropped 24 points in Monday night’s game, 20 of those points came during the 3rd quarter while the Clippers held a steady 25 point lead. The struggle doesn’t end here for the Warriors, their offense turned the ball over 26 times in this blowout.
After winning a close game in Game 1, and getting blown out in Game 2; the Warriors are determined to regain control of the reins at home in Game 3.
