Rhythm and Blues has been going through a resurgence lately.
With new artists popping up reminiscent of days past but with a sound for the future, Oakland native Adrian Marcel, embodies everything that R&B has been missing.
The Republic Records recording artist stopped by the GIANT offices to chop it up about his latest EP “7 Days of Weak” and the meaning behind the provocative title. We also talked about working with his mentor Raphael Saadiq and what makes his sound unique from the rest.
Now, we know he’s an R&B dude, but ladies love the R&B cats, so you might wanna take a listen to ‘ol boy. His music might come in handy. It may take you from first base to breakfast in bed. But you didn’t hear that from me.
Adrian Marcel, ladies and gents.
