With so much going on like the VMAs and Afropunk, we don’t know how Brooklyn can stand all of this excitement. Over the weekend Afropunk came back to the Commodore Barry Park, Brooklyn for their annual music festival for 2013. The two day event was filled with culture and eventful shows, and if you got hungry there were over 26 of New York City’s Best food trucks cooking up some good grub. The venue was split into 2 different concert spaces, the red and green stages. The 2013 Afropunk performers featured Danny Brown, Ninjasonik, Big Freedia, Unlocking the truth, Questlove, Theophilus London and more.
