After a 3-0 pitch was called on Boston Redsox’s  designated hitter David Ortiz in the 7th inning on Saturday, he was not very happy . He went on to argue with the umpire on how high the pitch  was  and on his way to the dugout the slugger had a meltdown of epic proportions by destroying the visiting bullpen’s phone. On the upside, the Red Sox won the game. The downside, they no longer had a phone.

To lighten the situation, Ortiz’s teammates Jonny Gomes and Ryan Dempster created a new team phone, out of string and 2 tin cans.  You mean to tell me this is a franchise that makes millions of dollars and the best they could do was make tin phones?! According to the teammates, they “repaired” the phone problem. Great job!
