No, Dick, this wasn’t weird at all.

Here’s the thing about old people using Twitter. They don’t understand the “don’t press send” struggle. When Twitter asks you “What’s happening?”, while some might tweet lyrics to their favorite song, or post a funny quote by some B-list internet celebrity, Dick Vitale is just throwing down on the keyboard.

Tony Parker’s ex-wife Eva Longoria was a Spurs fan long before her relationshiop with the star point guard, so its not unusual at all that she’s rooting for her beloved NBA team. But was there any other way Vitale could’ve expressed his excitement with Parker’s brilliance without hitting Longoria with the troll of the week? Probably, but that wouldn’t make Twitter, Twitter.
