At an ultra secret location at an undisclosed hour, Diddy and Ross took to Revolt to let the proverbial cat out of the bag-the man who reinvented the remix and has owned one of your favorite brands at one point, Sean Combs, has served as a co-executive producer for Rick Ross’ sixth studio album, Mastermind. The details surrounding the album, which is set for a March 4th release, has been fairly sparse but we’re sure this piece of news will have Rozay fans even more anxious for the album. It is truly a meeting of the Masterminds.
This now marks 86 albums that Diddy has had an executive producer role. The last one being Jay Z’s American Gangster.
Below are a couple statements from each of them regarding the news:
“Diddy is one of the greatest producers of all time and someone I respect. He has a proven track record of not only creating hit records but also classic albums. It just made sense for me to have him be a part of this process,” states Rick Ross.
“It’s a team effort. Ross, Khaled, Gucci Pucci and I are like a family. The goal for Mastermind was to create a classic album. Once we put all our superpowers together we knew there was nothing stopping us from accomplishing our goal,” says Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Oh, and the other co-executive producer? That would be the Teflon Don himself, Rick Ross. You can watch the video below of the breaking news.
