This week in rap release dates…

In the past couple weeks we’ve been treated to some very pertinent rap release dates, that have proved to be quite elusive in the past year. The reigning king of summer–no disrespect, Hov–Dom Kennedy has treated his fans to critically acclaimed after critically acclaimed albums with summer release dates for over 3 years, but in 2013, that streak came to an unfortunate end this year, as his much anticipated Get Home Safely album was never given a release date as spring and summer came and went.

That has finally changed.

Announcing last week that he would be announcing the release date to the album this week, Dom K stuck to his word and revealed that the album would be out on October 1st, joining a marathon of marquee releases to kick off the autumn season. With Pusha T & Danny Brown getting their fall releases in recent days, its about time one of the best in the west gets an official time to put out his Yellow Album follow up.
