Dom’s much anticipated album will be anticipated a tad more
Get Home Safely was supposed to drop in summer 2013. That’s the information Dom Kennedy and his Other People’s Money Company released to the Twitter-sphere earlier this year, unfortunately to no avail. The summer went by, and we got previously unannounced albums from Jay Z and Kanye West, chart topping efforts from J. Cole and Wale, and a whole host of other quality LPs from Mac Miller, Juicy J and Big Sean, but no Dom. Sliding into unfamiliar territory, with the cold winter months merely a couple weeks away, Kennedy pushes the Get Home Safely release date a fortnight further away from his frequented June and July stomping grounds. October 15th is the new official release date, and in collaboration with Best Buy, OPM will have a Dom Kennedy album in stores nationwide for the first time. Pre-sale begins on October 1st.
