Clapping For The Wrong Reasons

His album may have leaked earlier last week (possibly by his own hand), but Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino hasn’t let that deter the rollout process for his sophomore album “Because The Internet,” the follow up to his acclaimed debut LP “Camp.”

In a move as enigmatic and ambitious as anything else he’s done lately, Glover posted a link to a 72-page companion screenplay via his Twitter this past Thursday. The site features the script, written by Glover, with songs bookending five different suites of the script, much like the structure of the track listing implied. After his short film “Clapping For The Wrong Reasons” and now this screenplay, the multi-faceted Glover seems ready to add filmmaker to his growing list of multi-media projects.
