Donovan McNabb set to retire as an Eagle
Donovan McNabb announced during his radio show that he will be retiring with the Philadelphia Eagles. This has yet to be confirmed by the Eagles, but McNabb is expected to retired on September 19th when the Eagles take on the Chiefs on Thursday Night Football. The reason for this is so that Andy Reid can be in attendance for McNabb’s retirement.
McNabb was famously booed when he was drafted out of Syracuse but hopefully his return to Philly fairs differently. During his time in Philly, McNabb accumulated 92 career wins against 49 loses, six division titles, 32,873 yards passing and 216 touchdowns. McNabb also visited the NFC Championship 5x with one trip to the Super Bowl.
