August Alsina‘s new album, Testimony, featuring his popular singles, “I Luv This Sh*t”, “Numb” & “Ghetto”, is in stores today, and as part of his press run, August Alsina stopped by the popular BET music video countdown show 106 & Park to promote his new record.

It is now common knowledge that dating back to March, August Alsina & Trey Songz don’t see eye to eye, stemming from issues Alsina had at a performance he invited Trey Songz to, and other apparently off-color comments that the two singers have made about each other. Alsina has been asked about it at just about every interview he’s been invited to, and is understandably through answering such questions. After all, the answers are going to be pretty much the same, if not the exact same.

This idea was magnified on 106 & Park, when Keisha Chante, one of the hosts of the show, asked August Alsina if there would ever be a time when he and Trey Songz would work together again on new music. Alsina was visibly dismayed, and appeared to have his eyes closed for a decent amount of time while Chante asked the question, and opened them to publicly remind her that he specifically asked to not be questioned about Trey Songz during his time on the show. Things got a little awkward, but Bow Wow saved the day.
