Dr. Dre became an honorary Trojan after he donated $70 million to the Southern California campus on behalf of his Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts.

The “Detox” doctor also accepted new responsibilities such as keeping track of his new department on campus, speaking at graduation and making appearances at football games. This past weekend before the school’s big football game against the Stanford Cardinals who are ranked 5th in the country, Dr. Dre made a special surprise visit to the team and gave the Trojans a “west coast” pep talk.
