The saga continues.
What controversy? Two weeks ago, in light of some comments Drake made to Rolling Stone about the lyrical content of Kanye West‘s Yeezus album, Drake was under fire from the press after he claimed he made those comments off the record, and tweeted about feeling snub-nosed for being replaced by Phillip Seymour Hoffman–the legendary actor who’s death was announced just days prior to Drake’s news breaking–on the cover of their current issue.
Kanye took to the stage at his Yeezus tour show to defend Drake, saying magazines were merely “pitting them against each other”, and in the olive branch move of the week, Kanye West appeared, out of nowhere, at Drake’s Berlin, Germany Would You Like A Tour? stop at the O2 World Arena.
Ye promptly jumped into an energetic rendition of one of his Yeezus singles, “Black Skinhead”, before leaving the stage, and if anything, this should be an indication of new music, not new controversy, from the two “rap gods”.
