The bromance continues.
Drake and Future‘s relationship may be one of the most interesting in hip-hop. Dating back to 2011, when Drake apparently refused to appear in Future’s music video for their hit single “Tony Montana”, they’ve been entrenched in an interesting back-and-forth that some have chalked up to be a minor “beef”. That became even more evident recently, when news broke that Future had been booted off Drake’s star-studded Would You Like A Tour? tour after Future made remarks about Drake’s new album Nothing Was The Same to a Billboard magazine editor. Despite rumors the “Honest” rapper had been replaced with Drake’s “From Time” collaborator Jhene Aiko, once the tour commenced, Future was back on the bill, and last night on Drake’s birthday, the tour stopped in Toronto and Future was brought on stage by none other than Drake. The two performed their most notable collaborations: Lil’ Wayne’s “Love Me”, and Future’s “Tony Montana”, much to the delight of a sold-out, energetic crowd.
