Any day now Drizzy…
Nothing Was The Same is comfortably headed towards double-platinum, but Drake isn’t slowing up. He’s been teasing and promising post-NWTS music for weeks, and his care package–a collection of 4 or 5 songs that he’ll release at the same time by year’s end, according to him–is expected to include his Hit-Boy produced “Trophies”, which his DJ debuted during his Would You Like A Tour stop in Brooklyn, and the mythical “Wu Tang Forever” remix, featuring members of the Wu. During his DJ set at a club in Chicago, Drake previewed “Trophies” yet again, and gave an exclusive listen of Casey Veggies‘ upcoming single, “The Boy”, which features Drake, and is also produced by Hit-Boy. Both records sound like absolute heaters, and considering Drizy’s promise to release the songs he has laying around during December, he’s got about 2 weeks left to do so. Let’s hope he doesn’t wait until after Christmas.
