When you sell 658,000 copies your first week, hitting the one million mark shouldn’t take too long. But none the less a congratulations are in order. Champagne Papi‘s third solo studio album ‘Nothing Was The Same’ is now certified platinum.

According to Hits Daily Double just four weeks after his release,  the “Started From The Bottom” emcee sold about 38,000 copies this week, which put him on platinum status.

Say what you want about how emotional Aubrey is, the boy is talented and has the numbers to back it. This is the second rap album to go platinum this year. The first was Jay Zs Magna Carta Holy Grail.
