The Big 2

Chris Broussard has reported today that Chris Paul and Dwight Howard are hoping to team up next season. The two have apparently been texting each other trying to figure a way how this could work. One team in particular that would be able to give both players max deals is the Atlanta Hawks.

The bad thing about the Hawks is that neither Howard or Paul is particularly fond of playing in Atlanta. Howard does not want to return home to play in Atlanta and Chris Paul has resolved his problems with the Clippers, meaning he wants to stay in Los Angeles.

There is a way that the two could play together in Los Angeles though it is unlikely to happen. If the Lakers were to trade Howard to the Clippers the Clippers would have to give up Blake Griffin and Eric Bledsoe so Paul and Howard can team up. Once again it is unlikely because the Lakers are trading Howard to not only their direct competition but a team that shares the same building as them.

Get ready for an interesting free agency everyone.
