In preparation for his upcoming album “The Marshall Mathers LP2″ Eminem will make his sixth appearance on SNL as the musical guest.

Standing alongside Scandal’s leading lady Kerry Washington, the two released their promo for the upcoming episode.  While Washington, and fellow SNL cast member Nasim Pedrad appear super geeked, the blond emcee remains stone-faced only offering up an awkward silence. I guess that was his attempt at being funny.

In the second clip, Eminem remains straight faced and “brightens up” (notice the quotation marks) at the mentioning of cupcakes.

Yeah, we’re not too sure either.
