Eminem sat down with  BBC’s Radio 1′s Zane Lowe for the first of a four-part interview.

Conducted inside of London’s famed Abbey Road Studios, the blond emcee discussed the creative process when recording tracks for his seventh number one album “The Marshall Mathers LP2″

The Detroit emcee said after “Recovery” he heard talk amongst his fans he should create a “Stan 2″ or revisit other prominent tracks from the original “The Marshall Mathers LP” Eminem understood the want, but said he needed to hear the right track to certain records, which is why he waited until “MMLP2″

The “Rap God”also revealed when he made the six minute song, it was actually a one-take freestyle (solidifying his lyrical supremacy). He spoke in depth about his respect and admiration for producer Rick Rubin and compared his nerves of meeting the hip-hop legend for the first time to that of meeting Dr. Dre, when he first got signed.

Despite all his success, Em said that when he’s in the studio he’s always looking for that wow factor.
