Having dope music is great but what good is that until you get it out to the people? California group OverDoz has built a movement that embodies a 21st century take on everything great about the 1960 Hippy culture. They just want to have a good time and Polo Grounds/RCA co-signed the vibes by bringing them on board to their already game changing roster (A$AP Mob, Lantana).
The President of Polo Grounds Music, Inc. (Bryan Leach) had this to say about their future: “OverDoz. and their team are fearless, creative and represent everything that’s bright about where rap music is headed.”
To spread the love even more, OverDoz just wrapped up their tour with A$AP Ferg and the Mob, Aston Matthews, Joey Fatts, and 100s. On their New York stop last week we had the opportunity to cover a lot of ground with them regarding their music, their approaches to talking to girls, and much more. What are we most excited for? Hearing all the work they’ve put in the studio with Pharrell. Without further ado, peep the interview after the jump.
