eXquire, Brooklyn’s self-proclaimed avant garde emcee, impressed many critics and listeners this past summer with his mixtape, Kismet. During the process of constructing this album, apparently he had a large quantity of tracks that couldn’t make the final cut. Luckily, these songs will finally get to see the light of day through the Kismet: Blue Edition. This expanded edition contains features from Chance the Rapper, Flatbush Zombies, Thundercat, Alchemist and many more. It is more than the usual re-releases, and the additional content helps keep this barely four month old mixtape sounding fresh.

To accompany his new project, eXquire dropped off some new visuals for “Orbz a.k.a. Some Wise Quote Drake Never Said”. He continues his wild trippy and shirtless phase in the video. The screen is tinted blue, and there are wacky images seen throughout, for instance, a random woman walking her dog. While eXquire recites his verse, he is flanked on both sides by his floating heads. It is as weird as his lyrics and persona are, but it is well done.
