Turner Field experiences third fall in a year

Last night amidst the Atlanta Braves’ home matchup with the Philadelphia Phillies a fan at the game has fallen to his death. The man who fell has been identified as 29-year old Ronald Homer of Conyers, Georgia.

According to police the man had fallen from the back part of the stadium where that specific location was 60-feet high (six stories). Police spokesperson John Chafee also said that there is no indication of foul play and from the witnesses’ stories the fall was an accident. The police did not release any more details on the matter.

An autopsy will be conducted on Tuesday to see if alcohol may have been a factor in Homer’s fall. Another possibility may been the wet conditions, a 2-hour rain delay occurred prior to the start of the game.

This incident isn’t new at Turner Field as this has been the third fan fall in a year.
