If the first-week predictions for Eminem‘s “The Marshall Mathers LP2″ are correct, maybe he’ll start smiling in photos.

Yeah, we doubt it.

According to Billboard.com, the Detroit emcee is on course to sell anywhere between 700,000-750,000 copies, making it the second largest debut this year. The first came from former boy bander (and enemy) Justin Timberlake for his “The 20/20 Experience” which sold 968,000.

As it stands now, Drake has the second largest debut of 2013, with 658,000 sold first week fo Nothing Was The Same.  If the predictions are true, “The Marshall Mathers LP2″ will go onto claim the Billboard 200′s No. 1 spot, and make his eighth studio album, his seventh consecutive number one.  ”The Slim Shady LP” back in 1999 landed at number the two spot.

The first week forecast is based upon orders from digital and in store retailers, press and comparisons to previous albums. His 2010 “Recovery” shot straight to No. 1 with 741,000 records sold.

If the “Rap God” goes onto sell these numbers, he’ll tie with Nas and Kanye West among hip-hop artist to have the second most Number one albums. Jay Z has 13 (but you know, Jay Z always wins)

The most number one albums goes to John, Paul, Ringo and George (The Beatles) crushing the game with 19 number one albums.
