In the words of Nivea: Don’t mess with the radio! Especially, if it belongs to an unstable person by the name of Josue Rodriguez

The 40 year-old Florida man was allegedly getting his scrub-a-dub-dub on while listening to the radio, when he heard his roommate attempting to change the station. Rodriguez immediately stepped out of the shower to confront his roommate and presumably school him on radio etiquette. His roommate responded by pushing Rodriguez, which only infuriated him even more.

In retaliation, Rodriguez did what any passionate radio loving person would do, he grabbed a nearby machete (because we all have those laying around the house) and began whacking his roommate, eventually hitting him in the cheek. The two continued to wrestle until the roommate managed to knock the machete away and run outside to call 911.

While in custody, Rodriguez explained that he only had the machete because he planned on sleeping in the woods that night. Riiiight. What kind of creatures did you plan on encountering in the woods that would require you to have a machete to protect yourself, son?

Rodriguez was taken to Palm Beach County Jail where his bond was set at $10,000.
