Daron ‘Mookie’ Blaylock in critical condition after car crash
Terrible news for the NBA family today, Daron ‘Mookie’ Blaylock was critically injured in a car crash and is now on life support. Blaylock was driving in Jonesboro, Georgia when his car went head-on in a collision with another van. Blaylock was airlifted to the Atlanta Medical Center as were the man and woman in the van; the man and woman’s conditions are not known at this time.
Mookie Blaylock was drafted out of Oklahoma as the 43rd pick in the 1989 NBA Draft. Blaylock’s best year was in the 1996-1997 season when he averaged 17.4 points and 5.9 assists garnering him a NBA All-Star appearance.
