Eminem has declared himself a “Rap God” and who really, in their right mind, is going to be brave enough to dispute that? Certainly not the good folks here at GIANTLife.com.

After releasing the tracklist for The Marshall Mathers LP2, people have been curious about what Em lyrically had to say and It sounds as if he’s not holding back. For six minutes, Eminem releases a fury of rhymes touching on everything from the “beef” with Ray J and Fabolous, paying homage to Heavy D, Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton to even admitting he isn’t as big a rap star as he once was.

If you’ve payed attention to Marshall’s career, you’ll notice he always releases a jokey, slightly annoying song as the album’s first single (Slim Shady, Berzerk) As the album’s release date looms closer, the songs get darker. On “Rap God” the third released single following Berzerk and Survival, he stands alone claiming his newly mounted position and on the last verse spits at such a rapid speed, one might thing the Detroit emcee just maybe a robot.

Take a listen to the track and tell us how you feel. Is Eminem right to call himself a “Rap God” or is it time for the dude to hang it up? You tell us.
