The feel good song is a completely different sound from his previously self-produced released track “N***as Know“off his sophomore album “Born Sinner” Yet the Roc Nation artist still showcases his ability to capture listeners attentions with his storytelling skills.
I’m a Cole fan, been down since I heard him rap about his hatred for Sallie Mae on his early track “Blow Up” so of course I’m giving “Crooked Smile” 4Gs. But that’s just me.
