Release date please.
Future‘s Honest was slated for mid-November once the first single from the highly anticipated album, “Honest’, was released. However, Future’s sophomore effort experienced a major push-back, and at the conclusion of the first month of the new year, we still don’t have a release date.
Still, with “Sh!t” and all its crowded remixes continually getting spin just about everywhere, Mike Will Made It, frequent Future collaborator and major contributor to Honest, has dropped off a few details about the LP, including guest spots from some pretty top tier stars.
“We have some good collaborations on there like Nicki Minaj, Drake, Kanye West, Pharrell, Pusha T“, said Mike Will to Rolling Stone while on the pre-Grammy Awards red carpet. His own album features similar features (Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Drake), but as far as Honest goes, all the Mike Will x Future camp is waiting now is the official release date, and then the fun can begin.
Future & Drake have already collaborated several times: in 2011 for Future’s break-through “Tony Montana” single, then for DJ Drama’s “We In This Bitch 1.5″ a few months later. More recently, they collaborated on a loosie after Drake’s surprise appearance at Howard University’s 2012 Yardfest homecoming concert titled “Fo’ Real”, and Drake unleashed a statement verse on the remix to Future’s latest hit, “Sh!t”.
