Remember back in the day when trying to win a simple tournament in Mario Kart turned into an all-out 10-hour gaming session? Well get ready to play until the day break once again with the upcoming release of Mario Kart 8 on Wii U.

With new courses & attack items, this is looking to be one of the most popular video games this season. Mario Kart 8 gives you boomerangs and piranha plants to sling at your opponents, and a new feature called anti-gravity mode, which gives you a speed boost when you’re hit by your rivals.

Although the new courses are a nice change of scenery, one cannot deny that the new souped up Rainbow Road course is the most interesting part of Mario’s latest racing game. So if you don’t have a Wii U yet, get it soon, because May 30th will be here sooner than you think. Watch a couple of gamers play the spectacular-looking Mario Kart 8 below:
