Finally, Stalley’s push is happening.
We just passed the 3-year anniversary of Massillon, Ohio native Stalley signing to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group label, and its been a rather uneventful tenure, to say the least. Having put out only one original project (Savage Journey To The American Dream) since signing on the dotted line, in 2010, and appearing minimally in mainstream MMG ventures, Stalley is now prepping his major label debut album, whose lead single has garnered critical acclaim. “Swangin’”, featuring a much appreciated assist from Houston legend Scarface, is getting a video, from the streets of Houston (I mean, where else would you shoot a Scarface-featured single about “twerking the wheel” of old school cars?), and Paul Wall, Killa Kyleon, and a host of other Texas mainstays came out to show love to who we assume will be the next MMG artist hitting the shelves after Wale on June 25th. Stalley’s yet-to-be-titled debut album will be out later this year.
