Warriors take themselves out of Howard race
Andre Iguodala is now the latest member of the Golden State Warriors. Previous to the signing of the one they call Iggy, the Warriors were clearing cap space in what was thought to be a move for Dwight Howard. The Warriors got rid of Richard Jefferson and Andris Biedrins expiring contract to make room for a signing.
The cap space that will take Biedrens and Jefferson’s contract will now be Iguodala’s 4-year, $48 million deal. With a six man rotation that looks like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Bogut, David Lee, Andre Iguodala, and Harrison Barnes who really needs Dwight Howard.
Andre Iguodala averaged 13 ppg, 5.4 assists, and 5.3 rebounds for the Denver Nuggets last season.
